A traditional dish from Tirana, this is a creamy mix of cheese, peppers, and tomatoes.
Ingredients:
- 400g cottage cheese or ricotta
- 2 green peppers
- 1 onion
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Sauté the vegetables: In a pan, melt butter and sauté chopped onion and peppers until soft. Add diced tomatoes and cook until the liquid evaporates.
- Add the cheese: Stir in the flour, then fold in the cheese until everything is mixed. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake: Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 20 minutes until golden.
