Ingredients:
- 500g potatoes (peeled and cubed)
- 1/2 head of cabbage (shredded)
- 3-4 slices of bacon (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Olive oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Boil the potatoes and cabbage together in salted water until both are soft (about 15-20 minutes). Drain and mash together.
- In a frying pan, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the mashed potato and cabbage mixture to the pan. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the mixture, pressing it down with a spatula to form a flat pancake. Cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot, either as a side dish or as a main.
