Karentika (Chickpea Flour Tart)


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chickpea flour
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, water, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Ensure the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes, or until golden and firm.
  4. Allow to cool slightly, then cut into squares.
